Frequently asked
- Do I need previous canyoning experience?
- This is an intermediate route (grade V4). Previous canyoning experience helps but isn't essential if you're fit, confident in water and comfortable with heights. Tell us your background and we'll advise.
- What's included — do I need my own gear?
- All technical equipment is provided: UIAA-certified canyoning gear, wetsuit, helmet and harness. Just bring a swimsuit, a towel and a change of clothes — no personal kit required.
- Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
- You don't need to be a competitive swimmer, but you should be comfortable and calm in moving water and fit enough for a day of continuous canyon movement — walking, scrambling, swimming and rappelling.
- How big are the rappels?
- The longest single rappel on this route is about 45 m, with a series of smaller drops, slides and pools along the way. We rig and manage every rappel and teach you the technique.
- How long does it take?
- Plan for roughly 6 hours in the canyon, plus time for transfer, kitting up and a safety briefing — so it's a full-day outing.
- What happens if it rains?
- Canyoning is weather-dependent. We monitor upstream rainfall and will reschedule or rebook you if there is any flash-flood risk — your safety always comes first.
- Where do we meet?
- We'll confirm the exact meeting point and transfer details with you after booking. Getting to the canyon is part of the guided experience.
